I adore Satyen. He is a marvelous, cheeky, incredibly intelligent and humble human being. I truly appreciate the time that he spent with me to record this for our on-going benefit. Another rare one that has been working hard to meet people where they are at and support them moving forward.

What’s the episode about?

We briefly chat about how Satyen Del Monte came to be where he is now from joining Osho in India, becoming a General Practitioner Physician in Germany to then diving deep into how now he is working with people guiding them to regulate their nervous systems to have a better quality of life. There are so many gems inside of this episode.

His somatic experiencing sessions are mighty powerful and are a great awareness tool, gently keeping you in communication with your body. It’s a very important conversation around being trauma informed and using awareness from moment to moment. Being kind and gentle with yourself with the healing process. We talk about coping with panic attacks, flash backs, ptsd. Learning to listen to the body’s communication and what it might be saying to you.

There are so many factors when it comes to trying to heal from your trauma and we need to stay safe while we do it. Please let me know what you get out of this episode if you do listen and please share it with anyone you think it might be beneficial to.

A great book to pair with this episode would be The Body Keeps The Score. There’s also a workbook option to go along with the book too if you’re interested in that.
